Basic human rights, that we take for granted, are currently being violated all over the world. Take a look at the following website: http://www.hrw.org/en/home (Human Rights Watch) and describe one of the violations. Also, comment on one of your peer's posting.
Government officials, security forces, and their agents routinely abduct people off the streets of Beijing and other Chinese cities, strip them of their possessions, and imprison them. These black jails are often located in state-owned hotels, nursing homes, and psychiatric hospitals.

ReplyDeleteAdam-I think people in jail dont have rights unless they are in there for something minor, so maybe they shouldn't complain about the conditions of jail when they did bad stuff.

ReplyDeleteOne of the violations from the website was 3 men upducted one of Cuba's most prominent bloggers. He exercised his right of freedom of expression, and he was beaten and abused for it.

ReplyDeleteSchools in India are being attacked, they have carried out these attacks to prevent security forces from deploying in the schools for the elections. Referring to $widget$'s comment, I have seen that movie, it was a very good movie and really showed me what goes on in some countries.
